Preheat oven to 225C. Remove skin from ham and score a diamond pattern across the fat with a small sharp knife (ensure not to remove the layer of fat underneath as that contains the flavour). Place in a large roasting pan, add some water to the pan and set aside.
Mix the glaze ingredients together. Pour over the prepared ham & place in oven. The ham should be basted with the glaze every 20 minutes or so. Until a rich golden brown with slightly charred edges.
This should take approx. 45-60mins. Note the ham will not be heated all the way through. To heat through, cover in foil and leave for another hour.
Make sure to slice your ham so that each piece contains the delicious glaze.
